Widynowski's Sausage House was founded in 1984 by brothers-in-law, Robert Widynowski and Greg Hawryluk. The idea to start the business was spurred on by rave reviews from many friends who had sampled a homemade batch of sausage that Robert's parents had made. With a recipe in hand and ambition afoot the men leased a building on 118 Avenue and began to produce sausage with a hand-crank grinder and stuffer. The rest, as they say, is history.
Over the years, the production equipment has become more advanced, the building has expanded, and the product line and services have grown, but Widynowski's is still family owned and operated with the same values and passion that they had at the start.
